A stray cat who had been living on the streets of Montreal, Canada for many years was discovered wandering around a neighborhood. With a perpetually frowning face and no reason to be happy, this six-year-old cat, now named Barley, had survived a harsh winter and was in dire need of medical attention. Upon closer examination, it was found that one of his ears was permanently folded due to frostbite, he was missing several teeth and had many scars from fights for survival in the wild. After receiving antibiotics and treatment, Barley’s condition improved, and he regained his smile and beamed with happiness. We are thrilled for Barley’s recovery!
They gave him the nickname “Barney” and promptly began providing him with the necessary medical care he required.
