Kitten was Starving and Asking for Help
It was just another routine day of street feeding when my team and I stumbled upon a sight that tugged at our heartstrings. A tiny kitten, barely a few weeks old, was mewing loudly, looking up at us with pleading eyes. It was evident that the poor thing was starving and needed help.
We quickly scooped the kitten up, hoping to find its mother nearby. But despite our best efforts, we couldn’t locate any sign of the mother cat. That’s when a man in the vicinity shared that he had seen someone who had this kitten earlier. It was apparent that someone had abandoned the kitten in the park, which is quite common in our area.
It’s incredibly dangerous for kittens to be left alone in a park. They are vulnerable to attacks from other animals, and male cats may even harm them. Dogs in the vicinity can also prove to be a threat to their safety. We knew we had to act fast and take the kitten into our care.
We took the kitten home with us and tried to get one of our cats to adopt it. Thankfully, Luna, one of our friendly cats, agreed to take the little one under her wing. It was a relief for us as we feared that we might have to feed the kitten with a syringe, which can be challenging.
As a team that works towards rescuing and rehabilitating stray and abandoned cats and kittens, we come across various cases daily. Not all cases are appropriate to share on social media channels like YouTube. However, some of the more heartwarming cases that we’ve encountered, such as Simba’s, Coco’s, or Lusi’s, can be found on our Instagram account.
We urge you to check out our Instagram account, where we upload our street feeding videos daily. Through our work, we hope to inspire others to support us in our mission to attend to the needs of helpless and hungry cats and kittens.
Our work is made possible through generous donations from people like you. By watching our videos and subscribing to our channels, you can help us raise awareness about the importance of rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned cats and kittens.
We sincerely hope that stories like these will inspire you to support the cause and make a difference in the lives of these vulnerable creatures. Remember, every little step counts!
